“43 Design Studio” has developed its own distinct style involving in particular, photo editing and the transfer of traditional photographs onto wood, glass, stone and other materials. A fully computerized, state of the art laser is used to transfer images onto the various materials. This technique, called laser engraving, allows of photographs or drawings to be transferred picture perfectly onto different types of materials. Wood, as a natural and environment friendly material, is our basic material of production. Wood, holding the life of nature in its grains, is a warm and familiar medium for engraving that can keep memories alive in a way that no other material can. Besides photographs, many other sources of fond memories can be engraved in wood and kept as unique memoirs – wedding, baby shower or birthday invitations, personalized Christmas or Valentine’s Day cards, business cards, family crests, a child’s first drawings or written words… The possibilities are almost endless…
Although natural materials such as wood, glass, stone, or leather are the main mediums for engraving, many other types of material can be used for engraving: plastics, fabrics, rubber, foam, etc. |
